Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before hitting the slopes.
How do I determine the correct ski length for my height and skill level?
Ski length depends on your height, weight, and ability. Generally, skis should reach between your chin and the top of your head. Beginners should opt for shorter skis for better control, while advanced skiers often prefer longer skis for stability at high speeds.
What is your return policy on mounted skis?
Please note that once bindings have been mounted to skis, they are considered a custom product and cannot be returned or exchanged. We recommend double-checking your boot sole length (BSL) before requesting a mount.
How long does shipping take for heavy winter gear?
Standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days depending on your location. Oversized items like skis and snowboards are shipped via specialized carriers to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
Do you offer professional boot fitting services?
Yes, we offer professional boot fitting at our physical location. For online orders, we provide detailed sizing charts and heat-moldable liners that can be customized at your local ski shop.
Are your skis tuned and waxed before shipping?
All skis shipped from White Mountain Ski Co come with a factory tune and a universal storage wax. However, for the best performance on specific snow conditions, we recommend a professional prep-wax before your first run.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and interest-free financing options through Affirm to help you get your gear now and pay over time.
